After the collaboration with Dunia Moja in screening at Alliance,Sheila Masinde of TI Kenya and Jude Luggya of TI Uganda decided to visit to solidify their partnership with Hot Sun Foundation in empowering the community through socia media and art.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT

Sandra Owaka and Matthew Wildor were today editing a piece of the Nairobi Pentecostal Church Woodley showreel that would help them market the  Hot Sun Production.

CURRICULUM ORIENTATION.

 Today Tracy Clayton,Pamela Collet,Angela Mburi,Jospat Keya,Victor Ombogo,Victor Oluoch and wilfred Masea were discussing about the curriculum orientation in Film making course that will facilitate smooth running of the school in 2011.
Victor Oluoch says that he noted mistakes made last year and he hopes that this year things will change since the rules have to be adhered to.

WORKSHOP

The 2010 graduants and some of the Kibera TV members attended a sound class with a lecturer Steve Yong from South Korea."The lesson was good and we would wish to have such workshops as frequent as possible" Moses Ouma.

On the 10th of February 2011 at 3.30pm some of the Hot Sun Foundation members were at Alliance Francaise to attend the Screening of the Award Winning Film Togetherness Supreme produced and shot in Kibera, the screening was hosted with the Transparency International in collaboration with Dunia Moja.

ARTS MANAGEMENT TRAINING SEMINAR WITH MICHAEL M. KAISER

 Angela Mburi, Josphat Keya, Wilfred Masea and Belinda Adhiambo from Kibera Film School attended the half-day training workshop at GoDown Nairobi.

The training organized by The GoDown Arts Center and the Cultural Dept of the US Embassy saw a large turnout of artists of different artistic disciplines.

From Hot Sun Foundation, Belinda and her group got learn a few things on Strategic planning & Creating Visibility.

Second Graduation Foundation in Filmmaking 29 Jan 2011


Twelve delighted youth plus parents plus community plus chief guest Federico Olivieri from the Spanish Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya celebrated their successful completion of the Foundation in Filmmaking course at Hot Sun Foundaiton.  Congratulations to all!
